As the trainees enter their final week of the third Sales Academy, Chris Dawson reveals his top 10 selling tips


The bespoke four week Sales Academy course is delivered by Chris Dawson from 6th Door and is structured to give our trainees a real understanding of Access Point and most importantly, how to sell with integrity.

 

With the third Access Point Sales Academy drawing to a close, we speak to sales trainer Chris, who reveals his top 10 selling tips, how he effectively prepares the trainees for the sales floor and what advice he will offer the forthcoming Account Managers as they leave the academy.

 

Chris Dawson’s top 10 selling tips:

 

1) 100% believe that what you’re selling will help the buyer

 

2) Work ‘very’ hard

 

3) Ask a better question if you want a better answer

 

4) Then shut up and listen to that answer

 

5) Don’t ‘sell’ – have a conversation

 

6) Understand what problem your products/service solves for people, then talk to people with that problem

 

7) Explain everything simply – confused people don’t buy

 

8) Talk to people about your products with passion and energy and they will see them the same way

 

9) People buy people first and things second – be nice; there’s no need to be an “unpleasant person” (Access Point edit)

 

10) Ask for the business – everything before that point is just flirting
