The National Franchise Exhibition

The day began well, Jacquie’s 2 year old PA answered her phone and let me know she would be right with me after getting breakfast ready!

We proceeded uninjured to Wigan, an uneventful train journey brought us bright and breezy to the NEC for our first visit to the National Franchise Exhibition.

Got right down to it, floor plan - check, itinerary - check, compass oops forgot that!  Time flew as one after another good contacts were discovered and their details bagged, as if by magic it was time to grab a bite and a coffee.

Off we trot and more great conversations later it was time attend a seminar by Space and People - half right, loads of space but no people! The two of us were half the audience, didn’t have the heart to introduce ourselves just moved away silently avoiding the rush!

golfLesson learned we go again, more relationship building and I was even given a voucher for a free 4 ball at a De Vere golfing venue (Jennie’s putting it to good use).

Where’s the day gone? Back on the train and all very pleasant till an invasion at Warrington, apparently they are playing Wigan at rugby league whatever that is!

We manage to escape the crowds only to encounter a procession into Southport to watch fireworks.

Very apt as I expect fireworks from all the leads we discovered, happy days!
