We're off to Vietnam!!
Following on from the success of last years Management team building adventure to the Arctic, this year Access Point will be sending an intrepid team of 9 volunteers all the way to Vietnam.
Starting in Hanoi the team will get the opportunity to explore the capital city before heading on the 150Km trip to the Mai Chua region. They will then head on through the highlands to a small village in need of some help.
This year a new Kindergarten is being built to provide early years education to the underprivileged children of the area. It is however missing one thing.....bathroom and toilet facilities, so we're going to build them some!
Our team which includes David, Amanda and Claire from management, Sharrona and Jennie from our venue team, Victoria from till rolls and Dominic, Natasha and Cheryl from admin support, will then have 5 days to completely build a working wash block for many generations of children to use.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our company and colleagues to help people less fortunate than themselves and to learn new skills.
The aim of the trip is to bring together colleagues from different parts of the organisation and get them working within teams that they might not normally do so, whilst taking them entirely out of their comfort zone.
It won't all be hard work, as kayaking, cave trips and an overnight fishing experience are also planned for the lucky adventurers before they head home.
More details of this amazing adventure to South East Asia will be released closer to the time, so keep checking our website and social media sites for more information
