Accounts Supervisor

I am looking for an Accounts Supervisor to join my Team. As well as supporting me day to day, you will deal with the majority of low-medium risk accounts tasks, post all purchase ledger activities, and manage our Credit Controller, Surinder. We are a small team and like to work together to provide the best service we can, so your day can vary. Your typical tasks will include:

  • Management and Development of the Credit Controller
  • Invoice processing – creating and posting – and query resolution with customers/suppliers
  • Producing weekly payment runs for suppliers
  • Processing Employee expenses
  • Bank and Credit Card statement reconciliations
  • Review and develop accounts reporting and procedures
  • Cover for the Finance Director and Credit Controller
  • Phone/reception cover 

 The skills and experience you will need are:

  • 2 years purchase ledger experience 
  • People management skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Good IT skills, especially accounting system/Database and Excel (AP use Microsoft Dynamics 365) 
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Self-motivated, efficient, and confident in your approach to your work 
  • Minimum AAT Level 3 Accounting qualification (desirable)
