Access Point grows centre tally in run up to Revo 2018

Southport-based organisation to deliver commercialisation across 400,000 sq ft of heritage sites

Commercialisation agency, Access Point is celebrating bringing two exciting contracts on board as it heads into Revo 2018.

Cathedral Square in Worcester and Saint Andrews Square Shopping Centre in Droitwich Spa have appointed the 21-year-old business to deliver commercialisation across more than 400,000 sq ft of combined space.

Southport-based Access Point is responsible for maximising commercial space at the mixed-use Cathedral Square site in Worcester. Comprising around 220,000 sq ft of retail, leisure and hotel accommodation in the centre of the historic cathedral city, Cathedral Square’s redevelopment in 2017 was recognised by Revo – the UK’s biggest retail property event – winning a Gold Award in the Re:Fresh category, celebrating the best of property investment, development and asset management in the UK.

Access Point will also attract traders that will resonate with shoppers in Saint Andrews Square Shopping Centre in the Worcestershire spa town of Droitwich. The 157,000 sq ft site is the prime retail location in the town with anchor tenants including Morrisons, Wilko and Boots.

Cathedral Square and Saint Andrews Square Shopping Centre contracts follow Access Point’s announcement last week of a partnership with Royal Albert Dock Liverpool, delivering commercialisation at the historic site as it approaches its 175th birthday in 2021.
