ACCESS POINT WINS LIME SQUARE SHOPPING CENTRE BRIEF

Access Point has been appointed as the exclusive commercialisation partner for Lime Square Shopping Centre, which is located in the district of Openshaw on Ashton Old Road, one of Manchester’s principal routes connecting Manchester City Centre and East Manchester.

Lime Square is a shopping destination which is putting the heart back into Openshaw district centre and is home to a number of famous brands including Morrisons, The Range, Greggs, McDonalds, B&M, Poundland, Costa Coffee and Wynsors. The centre is also home to the stunning Steamhammer sculpture, which was created by the award winning sculptor Robert Erskine in tribute to the area’s industrial heritage.

As part of the commercialisation brief, Access Point has been tasked by Dransfield with maximising income potential for the shopping centre, whilst also introducing the right mix of brands and promotional partners to appeal to shoppers in the catchment area.

David Robertshaw, CEO at Access Point, said: “Lime Square is a fantastic venue with a lot of potential in an up and coming area of Manchester. This is our first appointment from Dransfield and we are really looking forward to building a relationship with them and delivering the commercialisation plan for Lime Square.”

In addition, the specialist commercialisation firm works with a number of retail and leisure destinations across the country including Star City in Birmingham, Woking Shopping Centre and Princes Quay Shopping Centre in Hull.
