PRINCELY WIN FOR ACCESS POINT IN HULL
Access Point continues its record of working with some of the most exciting centres in the country, adding Princes Quay in Hull to its commercialisation portfolio.
Southport-based Access Point has been awarded the commercialisation contract for the 450,000 sq ft centre built on stilts above the Princes Dock.
The contract win comes at an exciting time for the centre which is benefitting from increased footfall from the Bonus Arena which opened its doors in July 2018. Its ‘Outlet’ level is also thriving with shoppers hunting for bargains.
With over 70 stores across four levels including Primark, Hamleys, Beauty Outlet, Nando’s, complimented with a 10 screen digital cinema and bowling alley, the centre attracts over five million shoppers a year.
John Magee, Centre Manager at Princes Quay, said: “Access Point’s approach is closely aligned with our own asset management initiatives with both of us sharing a vision to produce attractive and vibrant environment for customers to relax and enjoy their shopping experiences.”
Princes Quay boasts a unique opportunity for commercialisation with panoramic views across the water and access to the water from the dock offering a great location for water-based promotions, activities or events.

The centre has seen a 15 per cent increase in evening footfall on event days at the Bonus Arena and a number of traders have increased their presence to respond to high demand.
