Film Crew Parking With Access Point

Film crew parking, especially in cities, can be a big and/or costly problem. For many projects that require a large film unit base it can be a nigh on impossible task to be within the vicinity of where the project is to be filmed. Finding a location that will allow out of hours access or be large enough to accommodate film crew parking as well as being the film unit base adds to the difficulty.

Access Point has helped film crews over the years with their unit base/parking conundrum.

As the commercialisation agent for numerous retailers and venues with large car parks, especially in the towns and cities, Access Point can provide film crew parking solutions that allow production companies to operate close to their chosen set.

Court For Hire

Access Point’s headquarters in Southport has been used on numerous occasions as a film set. The Old Court House, Southport, built in the 1930’s, has been described by English Heritage as ‘being a good example of architecture typical of that time.

However, not only does the exterior of the building provide an amazing backdrop, internally one of the ‘courts’ has been preserved. ‘Court 1’ has been seen numerous times on television for scenes included in Channel 4’s ‘Hollyoaks’ and BBC1’s Jimmy McGovern mini series ‘Time’ starring Sean Bean and Stephen Graham.

If you are interested in hiring ‘Court 1’ the Court for Hire website can provide further information or contact David Robertshaw directly.
